FOSTER MOTORSPORT – Chris Solomon at Avalon this Saturday night – 7th Feb2026.

Foster Motorsports return to action at Avalon Raceway this Saturday night the 7th February 2026 thanks to a major rebuild and a revised race schedule that enables the return of V8 Sprintcars to the venue.

After a wild crash at Simpson Speedway 3 weeks ago while leading the $10,000 to win feature race, the FOSTER MOTORSPORT team have been forced to make major repairs to the chassis and are now set to return to the track after a massive rebuilding effort.

Driver Chris Solomon will jump back in the seat of the B&B Retaining Walls FOSTER MOTORSPORT team’s #11 which once again looks pristine.

“That was a wild ride at Simpson, but it was the sudden stop against the fence support before tumbling back down onto the track that had us all concerned.” Said a team spokesman.

“Thankfully Chris was okay, nothing that a beer or two couldn’t fix, and he’s ready to rip around the track in pursuit of another win as reward for the teams’ rebuilding effort.”

After sitting out and watching the sport’s biggest race (the Flying Horse Bar & Brewery Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Warrnambool 2 weeks ago, full coverage of which can be found in magazine format at Highlinemagazine.com.au) the team are eager to get back to enjoying their own racing rather than watching others have all the fun.

If you’re at Avalon this weekend, come down and say HI to the team in the pits.

Also in the action at Avalon is the V8 Dirt Modifieds, Junior Sedans and the wicked quick Outlaw Karts.
